Welcome to: Memorable Spaces
If you are part of the “sandwich generation” like me, then you know all about how busy life can feel at times. We have children and perhaps our own parents to care for. We have jobs and numerous commitments, from sports to music, to volunteering, to community groups. We are busy people and sometimes our home bears the brunt of it all. Things don’t get put away and eventually we don’t know what we have anymore!
This is where we can step in and help. A decluttering service first and organising second, will help get your home life back on track and can help take away some of the stress you may be feeling.
We start with an initial consultation. We find out what your goals are for the specified areas or rooms and work with you to reclaim that space. We will also discuss appropriate storage solutions that could work for your family. We can discuss options for donation and whether you have particular charities in mind.
The main focus is on decluttering and organising your home, whether that be a single job (such as a pantry or walk in robe), a room, several rooms or an entire house. Other areas that I can assist with include down-sizing (or right-sizing as we prefer to call it). For example, transitioning from a house to a unit or retirement village. We can also help with decluttering your home to get it ready for home-staging, if you are looking to sell your home.
We always try to declutter with sustainability in mind. Let’s think about reusing and repurposing. Finding homes for your unwanted items that are practical and beneficial to your local community and disposing of broken items in the proper way. There are numerous charities in Brisbane that would be grateful for your donations.

Services
$60/hr
(minimum 3 hours)
We start with a free, on-site consultation (depending on your location). This is when we will discuss the areas that need work, how long projects might take, storage solutions that could work for your home and if you have any particular charities you would like to use for any donations. A complete quote will be done up for you along with a suggested timeline for the project. Once the quote has been accepted, we will then book in your project!

Other services include things like tip trips, storage solution shopping and specific charity drops. If you would like us to sell things on your behalf (via options such as Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree), these items will be discussed with you during our initial consultation and will attract a commission. We can also help with packing (if you are getting ready to move or “right-size”) and unpacking (if you have recently moved home). Downsizing, or as we prefer to call it, “right-sizing”, is a big shift and we are very happy to help with this process.
